What is GST?
Once the businesses or organisations registered for GST then they can include 10% of GST in the price that they charge to the customer. Also they can able to claim for GST that they buy for their business.
For example Sarah runs a small bakery business and she charges 10% GST to their customer. She sells a cake for $110 including GST. She keeps $100 and sends the GST $10 to ATO when she fills her next Business Activity Statement. In order to run the bakery business Sarah gets the milk and eggs from local super market. Sarah has paid $220 for milk and eggs. That means she can able to claim $20 as a GST credit from ATO. Sarah needs to keep her invoice to claim amount from ATO.

If the amount is GST exclusive then you have to add GST ($110 * 10 = $11) price/Amoung After GST $121 and GST $11
